The Youth Career Connections Council of the Franklin Hampshire Regional Employment Board (FHREB), which is the Workforce Innovatoin and Opportunity Act (WIA) Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB) and serves Franklin County, Hampshire County, and Athol, Petersham, Phillipston, and Royalston, announces a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking one or more vendors to develop and carry out a two-year youth service strategy involving effective providers of youth services and working with the FHREB, the Franklin Hampshire Employment and Training Consortium (FHETC) and the Franklin Hampshire Career Center (FHCC).

Vendors are sought for youth programming to be carried out in the Franklin Hampshire region funded through WIOA Title I. This RFP solicits proposals for a 24-month program. A total of $332,000 is projected to be available to fund activities that will take place during the twelve months from January 1, 2017, to December 31, 2017. The contract will be for an initial 12-month period, renewable for an additional 12 months based on a positive performance review and availability of funds for Calendar Year  2018.  Proposals are due September 1, 2016 by 5:00 p.m.  A Mandatory Bidders Conference will be held June 23, 2016 @10:00 a.m. at the Franklin Hampshire Career Center, Franklin Conference Room at One Arch Place, Second Floor, Greenfield, MA  01301.
